Life in 2026
It’s been a while since I wrote something personal. Hopefully, there will be more of this in the future. This year feels like a crazy graph, with lows and highs that keep spiraling. Uncontrolled AI, crazy hot weather, failures, successes, everything feels overwhelming and tiring.
After a dramatic health episode in the first quarter of this year, I have decided to disconnect from the internet and social media. It was a great decision as I had a bit of time to reset and reflect. Social media is dangerous mostly because of brainrot, of watching those nonstop videos on TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Reels, and so on and so forth.
I don’t want to talk like a boomer, but honestly, I miss the old times. Life was simpler a few years ago. Now everything is extra, and too much to handle.
Anyways, I am happy that I am making progress with my memoir project. My first little book will contain fun, sad, and exciting stories about my life in Romania and abroad. I want to share these stories in the hope that I might inspire people like me to believe more in crazy possibilities and that life doesn’t stop where you were born. It will be a bit scary to share my stories with the world, because I do love my privacy, but at the same time, I also want to give something to everyone. Even though no one asked, you better read.
I already secured a great cover for my book that will be designed by my friend, Nejc. All the contributions in this book will be personal and most importantly AI Free. This ‘AI Free’ Tag should become a valuable brand.
